1. Ensure all
activities under his/her control are carried out in
accordance with Health and Safety Policies, project HSES
Plans and Procedures, and National and International Health,
Safety and Environmental Legislation.
2. When
requested, assist in the site audits carried out on the
construction site by audit teams.
3. Demonstrate
through audit, and contractors’ compliance with the
construction plans, procedures, inspection and test plans.
4. Prepare and
issue the Quality Assurance audit plan, ensure
implementation of the plan and the timely close-out of any
observations, non-conformities etc. Also ensure that the
contractor and subcontractors also issue their audit plan
and subsequently carryout and then close out all audits in a
timely manner.
5. Ensure that
the Construction Operations 'Minimum Quality System' is
implemented on all Projects and is supported by procedures
and work practices.
6. Ensure that
Industry and 'Best Practices' for the Quality Control of
construction and commissioning activities to ensure is
meeting Clients expectations and remains competitive in the
industry.
7. Ensure that
all materials and equipment are stored safely and are
preserved and maintained in accordance with , Client and
vendor requirements. Liaise with the Field Superintendent to
determine the best storage position for difficult or bulky
items Liaise with the Chief Field Engineer with regard to
preservation and maintenance technical queries.
8. Provide
technical assistance to ensure that all construction
material, equipment and vendor packages are properly
inspected on receipt, correctly maintained during storage
and installed in accordance with required specifications.
9. Fully
implement the requirements of all Construction Operations
mandatory procedures. |
