Job
Description: |
The Mechanical
Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of Rotating
Equipment, Static Equipment and Onplot Piping design for the
PLNG Upstream Onshore facilities. Responsibilities:
-
Responsibility for high quality Mechanical and Piping
engineering deliverables, prepared by FEED and EPC
contractor.

Participate in technical and safety reviews (e.g. HAZOP,
Constructability Reviews) to ensure HSE compliance and
technical integrity in design.

Assuring
consistent application of Project approved standards and
manage the control of any justifiable deviations.

Building
good interfaces and relationships between disciplines in
the Upstream Onshore team, other project groups (e.g.
Midstream and Upstream Offshore), customer (POGC), and
other parties.

Managing
relationships with FEED and EPC contractors, and
Static/Rotating Equipment/Piping vendors.

Accountable for the quality of technical work and for
the technical integrity, constructability,
functionality, safe operation and reliability of
designs. Dimensions .

The scope
of the facilities covered under this project, as
currently defined, includes three offshore platforms
each producing 1000 MMscf/d gas through 11 or more
wells, connected to shore via 32”, 130 km 3-phase
pipelines.

The
Upstream Onshore processing facilities will be
constructed to recover and export the condensate and
deliver the remaining gas to the LNG plant.

Total
development Capex for the Upstream Project is expected
to be some US$3 billion.

The
Upstream Onshore facilities include a slugcatcher, 3
phase separators, condensate treatments units, flash gas
compression metering facilities, MEG regeneration and
injection facilities, condensate storage and transfer
facilities and flares.
